YEP, the Midwest’s premier entrepreneurial-experience-focused internship, launched its program in Kansas City in 2017 with the goal of developing a strong cohort of talented youth whose experiences in the program would encourage them to become part of the long-term fabric of the business community. Since its inception, we have served over 150 scholars from over 26 different high schools across the Kansas City metro area, the majority of whom are finishing their academic careers at universities across the US, including: the University of Kansas, the University of Missouri, George Washington University, Tulane University, Villanova University, Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University.

What makes YEP unique?

• The cohort visits a new company every Friday to learn about different industries and support structures for entrepreneurs
